“I am first and foremost a farmer – a contadino. And even though society made my father and grandfather ashamed to be growers, I’m proud to be the son of a contadino and to be one myself.” ~Elio Grasso, Distinguished Piemontese Winemaker
At the heart of Old Tioga Farm is our desire to produce beautiful and nutritious produce. We grow vegetables for about 30 families following the marketing model known as community supported agriculture, or CSA. In a CSA, members of the farm make a commitment for an entire growing season (June through October) and in return receive a share of their choice of fresh, delicious vegetables. Weekly shares are available in various sizes to meet the differing needs of customers.
Although we are not certified, our philosophy and practices reflect an organic approach to farming.
